This morning I am studying John 6 where it talks about the disciples (students) of Jesus going through a storm.  Verses 19 through 21 read, “So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were afraid.  But he saith unto them, It is I; be not afraid.  Then they willingly received him into the ship: and immediately the ship was at the land whither they went.”

That is a reminder when it appears I am going through rough times, just as soon as I recognize the Christ (Truth), the storm ceases!  The Christ is always right here, right now.  First, fear has to be handled.  Jesus told his disciples multiple times to “Be not afraid”.  Perfect Love casteth out fear.  Fear and Love can never co-exist.  That is so very reassuring to me.  Today I will Love more!

No Complaints

As I was thinking this morning, I began to ponder “complaining”.  That is actually telling God I have a better way of doing things.  How arrogant is that?  2 Corinthians 5:7 is a gentle reminder, “We live by faith, not by sight.”.  God is always working his purpose out and it is always perfect!  I will trust Him today and everyday.
