Age

Recently, I have been thinking about age, which seems to be so important in many people’s lives.  An author of a Spiritual article wrote that she wondered if God had been young during Moses’ life, then older when Jesus was on earth and now, very old.  Finding that humorous I begin to ponder that idea.  If we are made in the image and likeness of God and reflect Him and He doesn’t age, do we really age?  Then I was lead to Psalm 90:4 which reads “For a thousand years in Your sight are like yesterday when it passes by, or as a watch in the night.”  Could dwelling on our age or death possibly keep us from living fully?  Haven’t you met young “80-year olds” and old “30-year olds”?  Today, I will focus more on living today to the fullest!

Purity and Innocence

As I was talking with a friend this morning, we discussed purity and innocence.  After hanging up the phone, I began to really ponder this idea that God’s creation had to be pure and innocent if it reflected Him!  As I prayed with this thought, a certain freedom came over me as I claimed this for myself as my true sense of being!  God is Love; therefore He loves all in Spirit and in Truth.

In 1 Peter 1:8, it reads, “Though you have not seen Him, you love Him; and even though you do not see Him now, you believe in Him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy.”
