Perfect Peace

The world has it reversed when it shows peace comes when we have enough money, possessions, security systems, insurance, etc.  If someone begins from that stand point , he will never have enough of those items.  When we begin with God and express gratitude for what we do have; that is when we experience peace!  Philippians 4:6 reads, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”  As we pray with that verse, we can recognize our every need is met by God.

Perfect Peace

The following is from an article I read some time ago and can’t remember the author but thought I would share it.

“At the center of the most turbulent heart there is a place of peace, a place beyond time that cannot be touched by change or loss.  Here in the stillness is rest and healing.  Nothing we suffer, nothing we fear, can damage its perfection.  Enter this place of peace and learn the purpose of your life–not wealth or fame, but the recognition of your unity with all things.  Everything you have loved is here.  All joy.  All good.  No living thing has ever been lost to you.  No evil can survive in this clear shining.”

Imagine beginning each and every day at that place.  Psalm 112:4,7 states, “Even in darkness light dawns for the upright, for the gracious and compassionate and righteous man…He will have no fear of bad news; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord.”  We can fulfill this Truth by beginning each day peacefully.
