Waking Up

Recently someone was talking about the movie “Groundhog Day” where each day was repeated over and over until he woke up.  The same goes for us when we are focused on lack of Good whether it be financial, relationship, Health or whatever.  We soon become mesmerized and are unable to see Good anywhere.  That is when we wake up to this dream and replace the lack with our gratitude of all the Good in our lives!

Luke 12:25-26 reads “Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?  Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?”  Worrying about anything hypnotizes us!  Once again, our focus is always our choice.

No Randomness

Today I will be aware there is no randomness in my life!  My time will be spent in recognition of God’s qualities and appreciation of them, such as peace, joy, love and understanding.  Moments slip through my fingers when I am preoccupied with past or future events.  Luke 12:25-26 reads, “Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?  Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?”

Does it get any clearer?  God will always direct our paths when we release the chatter and still our thoughts.  That is my goal for today.
