Today my focus will be on loving others unconditionally. I will look through God’s (Love’s) eyes and be alert to criticism and judgment of others and myself. 1 Peter 4:8 states, “Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.” Also, love casteth out fear, so when we are fearful, we need to look and see where we are not loving enough!
For ages, physical scientists have been saying that the human uses only a fraction of its ability to see the material universe. If this is the case, should what we see materially be used as Law. 1 Corinthians 2:9 reads, “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard…the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him.”
If we are harboring criticism, condemnation, hatred, dishonesty, selfishness and fear in thought, couldn’t that affect our eyesight? Don’t we see things clearer when our thoughts are filled with Love and gratitude and compassion? It seems to me that it is not good eyes needed as much as good thoughts!
