This morning as I was reading my Daily Devotional, it occurred to me that the majority of these begin with a forewarning of when our journey gets rough! While pondering this, a light bulb came on because after reading these, you almost always expect something negative to happen!
Refusing to begin each day expecting disaster, I will pray with Jeremiah 25:11 which states, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, ” plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Never once does it mention “pitfalls” but prosperity. Often times we experience these “pitfalls” when we are expecting them!
