Recently, I heard a testimony about a woman in a city on her way to the airport to pick her daughter up. It was rainy and cold and the heater in the car didn’t seem to work. In addition, the transmission wasn’t right but she was already in traffic and on her way when her engine light came on. Extremely fearful at first, she then turned to God and listened. She soon was led to get in an inside lane and there on the left there was a service station she had never noticed even though she had traveled this way before.
After turning in, she went inside to the convenience store where there were several men. Humbly asking for help, they soon decided she needed antifreeze and soon that was done. No one would accept her offered tip so she went on her way. The car drove fine and the heat came on. All was well. Now there are those who would call her either “lucky” or “extremely fortunate” but I know it was God protecting and leading her. Not only was she listening but the men inside the store were listening as well.
Psalm 16:11 states “You will show me the path of life; I Your presence is fullness of joy at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” Mrs. Eddy states in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures “Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need.” This, I know to be true as it is evidenced daily.
