Junk Mail

Thinking about junk mail, whether it comes from the postal service or on the computer, the only thing I really do with it is either toss it in the trash or delete it.  There is no time spent on agonizing over it, analyzing it or fearing it!  Shouldn’t I do the same with junk thoughts which come in all during the day?    “Lead me not into temptation, but deliver me from evil” should help me to see through these unwanted thoughts rather than ruminate over them.  This is always my choice.

“Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time.  Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.”  I Peter 5:6-7   That includes junk mail.

  1. THANK YOU so much for helping us realize that junk mail, in all its various “arrivals” in our lives, are junk thoughts trying to dictate or control our movements and actions. The more we are aware that “junk” is a synonym for error we can indeed delete and toss this uselessness in the TRASH BIN. You make us aware that there is no need to be led into temptation but be led into FREEDOM!!

Your inspiration is very well received and very much appreciated!! 💖
