Walking the Walk

We can study mathematics forever but if we don’t solve a problem, we will never be a mathematician.  The very same is true for reading a recipe for a cake but we still have to make it.  This is true about riding a bike, swimming and on and on.  It is especially true about being a Christian.  We can read the Bible forever but if we don’t put it into practice in our life, are we still a Christian?  Being a Christian to me means following the teachings of the Christ.  Loving one another, standing for principle (which He always did) and knowing He was the true child of God were just a few of the ways.  Psalm 25:4-5 states “Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.”  We actually have to put these things into practice in our life.
