Quiet Time

Recently I read where fear often manifests itself in excessive-planning.  That is true for me so I usually begin my day with Psalm 46:10 which reads “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”  Before I still my thoughts, it feels almost like a popcorn popper!  For me, it is important to get my thoughts calm before I start my day.

As I pray to see only what God sees, I have more dominion and can be aware if my thoughts try to darken, I can refute them and replace them with the Truth of God’s omnipotence, omnipresence and omniscience.  The choice is always mine.

  1. This is a wonderful inspire. We have been so conditioned to think we must always be humanly planning this and that and if we’re not we are lazy, unproductive, etc. We put upon ourselves all the judgements of erroneous thought. This thinking, as you so lovingly point out, is interfering with the true guidance from God. His thoughts will indeed calm us so to guide us throughout our day. I love your popcorn popper reference. I too will make the choice to follow the Truth and experience the dominion that is mine to express. THANK YOU!!!! 🤗
