This morning, while at my desk studying and praying, I began pondering the sayings of “looking through rose-colored glasses,” or being a “Pollyanna” and looking for the best in others. Then I asked myself “What is so wrong about any of those sayings?” I do know when I am looking for the Christ in someone, I am never disappointed just as when I am looking for a negative trait, I will find that as well. It is always our choice on what we are seeing.
Genesis 1:26 reads “Then said God, ‘Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.'” I also know in the Bible it says that God is Love and Truth so that must mean man is made in that image and likeness. When I remember that, I know that I come from Love and don’t have to look for it, but I attract it and it comes into my experience. I have found Love is always the answer!
