Restless

This morning upon awakening after a restless night, I found myself trying to “figure out” why I tossed and turned in my sleep.    As I thought along these lines for a few minutes, it dawned on me that I was casting my nets on the wrong side and immediately Philippians 4:7 came to thought which reads “Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down.  It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.”

When I practice putting God first in my life, all things come together and I need never attempt to understand error, which is anything ungodlike.

  1. Hi! Don’t know how I missed this blog post? What a brilliant perspective on restlessness and worry and that we don’t have to succumb to the infiltration from error of any kind. Keeping our thoughts spiritual & Christlike is the WAY. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
