Age

Recently, I have been thinking about age, which seems to be so important in many people’s lives.  An author of a Spiritual article wrote that she wondered if God had been young during Moses’ life, then older when Jesus was on earth and now, very old.  Finding that humorous I begin to ponder that idea.  If we are made in the image and likeness of God and reflect Him and He doesn’t age, do we really age?  Then I was lead to Psalm 90:4 which reads “For a thousand years in Your sight are like yesterday when it passes by, or as a watch in the night.”  Could dwelling on our age or death possibly keep us from living fully?  Haven’t you met young “80-year olds” and old “30-year olds”?  Today, I will focus more on living today to the fullest!

  1. Great insight on aging and the Biblical reference in Psalms is most helpful. Live every day to the fullest is our nature. I strive to everyday to KNOW this. Thank you, Becky!
