Time Doesn’t Matter

In the fifth chapter of John there is a man who has had an illness for thirty-eight years when Jesus asked him “Wilt thou be made whole?”   Rather than simply saying “Yes”, he told Jesus all the reasons he hadn’t been healed.  Maybe we do that from time to time and think about how long the discomfort has being going on or maybe we don’t deserve the healing, etc.

In John 5:8-9 it reads, “Jesus saith unto him, ‘Rise, take up thy bed and walk.’  And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked:”.   Nothing is impossible to God when we let go and let God be God and release all human outlining.

  1. Becky, your inspirations are really resonating with me as of late. I do thank you for this reminder to not concentrate on what seems to disconnect us from God and to focus on our atonement with Him. Immediate magnificence will be revealed through the activity of the Christ as long as we ” LET GO and release all human outlining”. THANK YOU EVER SO MUCH!!
