The Good Samaritan

While studying the story of “The Good Samaritan” this morning, I begin to ask myself questions about this topic.  Am I kind and patient when it may look like I am being inconvenienced?  Am I rude to solicitors when they call?  Do I smile at people while out shopping or am I so self-absorbed that I don’t even see them?  Today, I will be aware of these things.

The Good Samaritan stops to render aid after the Priest and Levite had walked on by.  Luke 10:36-37 reads, ” Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbor unto him that fell among the thieves?  And he said, He that shewed mercy on him.  Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.”

  1. Am I expressing the human ego or HIS spiritual Ego? Hmmmm…you bring up good questions, Becky. They will be reflected upon for sure. Thank you!!
