Be Still and Know that I Am God

If ever I attempt to begin my day without stillness, I am either resisting or wanting to speed up events of the day.  Without fail, I am reminded of the story of Mary and Martha in Luke 10:41-42 where it reads, “Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is needed.  Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”

By ceasing to humanly outline the day  and “Letting God be God”, my day flows so much smoother.

  1. Hello Becky! It can be hard not to humanly outline our day much less our lives. We often worry, get impatient, like you say, but letting go and trusting in God for our every need is key. Spot on and GREAT Truths you share today. I needed to hear-feel this today! THANK YOU!!!! ❤

  2. You were a BIG part of that testimony!! My friend, Jody, came and gave a testimony as well. I told her she was brave to give one for it only took me 5 years to get the nerve to give one. HA! 🙂
