Fantasizing

Frequently, much time is spent in thinking about future events; when one is out of debt, the children are grown, retirement, more leisure time and on and on.  This day-dreaming will never bring fulfillment, but more longing.  Joy is right here and we just need to open our eyes and count our blessings.

Philippians 4:4, 12 reads, “Rejoice in the Lord always.  I will say it again: Rejoice!…I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty.  I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.”

Rejoice now for today and all it’s blessings!
