No Stress

Have been out of town for the past few days and even though, God is always with me, I find peace in returning to my desk and windows.  Studying and praying this morning, I realize that stress is trying to do things personally using limited  human love, rather than God’s  infinite love.  There is such a difference.  His Love dissolves all stress!  The battle is always God”s, never mine.

In Philippians 4:6, it states, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”

  1. Stress is the opposite of pressure. The first wants to pull apart and the other wants to push together. Regardless, these ideas require two, opposing forces or powers, pushing or pulling each other. What happens to the whole concept of tensions when we recognize that there is only ONE force or power?
