Heart as a Garden

As I read and pray this morning, I see my heart as a garden and God, the gardener.  The weeds that attempt to grow are worry, pride, selfishness, unbelief.  When I yield to God, the weeds shrivel up and peace abounds.  I choose peace today.

“For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.”  2 Corinthians 4:17
