Blank Canvas

Each and every morning, we begin our day with a blank canvas and it is up to us what we want to have on that canvas.  Last year I painted a picture that I couldn’t seem to get right and even considered tossing it out.

A few weeks ago, I swallowed my pride and took it to art class to see if it could be salvaged.  It is almost complete and is by far, my best yet.  My teacher saw all of the mistakes as underpainting and depth where all I saw was disaster.

This, I believe, is how God sees us.  He recognizes the masterpiece!IMG_0321 (5)
