Understanding Others

Whenever one appears rude toward me, either real or imagined, usually, a verse from a Hymn comes to mind and settles my thought as I ponder the words.

Speak gently to the erring ones,

They must have toiled in vain;

Perchance unkindness made them so;

O win them back again.

As I pray along these lines, I realize whatever happened was never personal.
