Love

Last month one of my nieces was married and asked me to write and read something about Love at the service.  The following is what I wrote and read.

Love is from God and Love exists forever, for everyone.  It knows nothing of the mortal separation.  There are no walls of material beliefs that Love does not dissolve, no obstructions Love cannot remove.

We do not own Love.  We share it and we live it, but it is not possessive.  We learn to Love without limits and as we learn to Love without limits, we learn to accept Love.

“Love inspires, illumines, designates, and leads the way.”*

From 1st Corinthians, Chapter 13, we read, “Love suffers long, Love does not envy, Love does not parade itself, is not puffed up, does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil.

And now abide faith, hope, Love., these three; but the greatest of these is Love.”

  1. What a beautiful tribute and promise to the union of your niece and her husband and now their little baby. True Love brings harmony and unity to mankind and you so eloquently passed this Truth on to all. What a tremendous gift!!! Thank you!!! 💖
